Mobile Payments arrive to Chile thanks to IONIX

The service, “Cuenta Móvil” (Mobile Account), working in an Alliance with Banco de Chile and Entel PCS, allows mobile phones to do several financial transactions.
From now on anyone in Chile can have a “mobile wallet” to do real time Money transactions. How? With the mobile payment system developed by Ionix and implemented with Banco de Chile and Entel PCS.
Using Ionix technology, users can transfer money to other accounts, collect money, withdraw cash from ATM’s, top up prepaid phones and many other new services that are being added every month. It’s also expected that other banks and mobile operators join in the system soon.
This mobile wallet will bring great benefits to users. It will simplify transactions, add security, and be cheaper to use, at the same time will allow more unbanked mobile users to enter Chilean financial services.
